Real Steyr Pistol

The Steyr M1912 , designed by Karl Krnka, was introduced in 1911 by the Austrian company Steyr Mannlicher. It was issued for the Austro-Hungarian Landwehr units in 1912 as the M1912. It was purchased by Chilean and Romanian governments, and in 1940s, served for the Wehrmacht. In OTL*, the M1912 production was discontinued in 1945.

The truly great thing about the Steyr M1912 is that it's one of the few early automatic pistol designs that are both mechanically fascinating and reasonably affordable.
